I am seriously considering skipping personal appearances at conventions this year (other than maybe the INDYpendent Show) unless I share a table with someone. I can't justify the expense against the small benefits of having a table. I like going to the cons and seeing friends and making new ones but I feel invisible or pitied sitting there drawing alone. All things considered I spent way more than I made at conventions last year and I've seen little to no pick up in sales. I think my time and money would be better spent drawing and working on new material. Any thoughts on this?
