Fruit Bat
Fruit Bat Number One, 2013
Originally drawn as the lead story in Little Doodles #1, it grew too big to fit so it became its own thing. A parody of the caped crusader (obviously I suppose) it was the first book I drew when I started drawing seriously again.

Wastes of Space
Wastes of Space 1-5, 2013-2016
The second book that I did, a sci-fi parody that also started as something I thought I would serialize in Little Doodles but turned out to be its own thing. I finished Fruit Bat and Wastes of Space number one before I even started on the first Little Doodles. I'm easily distracted.

Wastes of Space, Issue 6, 2017
Issue six, drawn but never published. I also started issue seven but never finished it. This would have been a transition issue into the next storyline. It's an origin story for La Barba that explains the universe a little better. I had a lot more story for this series but ultimately moved on to other things.

Little Doodles
Little Doodles 1-5, 2014-2018
Little Doodles is the anthology book that I created to house all of my random comic book ideas. It's a hodge-podge of stories but these stories had to go somewhere. The first three issues were black and white to save on publishing costs and then full color from issue four on. The title is a holdover from when I did mini comix way back in the 90's (yeah, I'm old).

Little Doodles Number 6, 2024
The big story here, The Halloween Hooligans, is a riff on characters created by writer/publisher John Graham called The Holiday Hooligans. This comic was originally drawn for a collection of his Holiday Hooligans stories. I put it in this issue because I wanted to introduce the Kelly Kids characters so I could use them again in the Christmas issue of Little Doodles.

Little Doodles Number 7, 2025
The Christmas Issue! This issue was a long time in the making. The main story, Ebb the Emo Elf, originally ran as a holiday comic strip under the title Jordan the Emo Elf in 2014 and the original version of Happy Crappy Christmas was created in the 90's! I redrew both stories for this issue. I brought back the Kelly Kids who I based on my siblings and I for a Christmas adventure and dug the character of Jimmy the Ugly Beaver out of the archives. Jimmy was originally created to poke fun at a co-worker and was used in several comic strips way back in the day.

Quiet Desperation
Quiet Desperation, 2023
A book I put together after my younger brother Jesse passed away. It chronicles my early adventures in comic book creation and my desperate attempt to create a cartooning legacy. In the end it seems more like an excuse to gather all of my early work in one place for posterity. I tried hard to get this book published by one of the big publishers and even got a copy in the Library of Congress but it ultimately went nowhere just like all of my stuff.
