DeShawn Houston's life isn't woking out how he planned. All he ever wanted to be was one of the legendary beast troopers in the Consortium Army but it turns out the only beast he can turn into is a gerbil. Given his limited abilities he is assigned to the espionage division and sent to the pleasure planet SX-1 to spy on visiting dignitaries who have a predilection for small furry animals. Roky Chokabitz' life isn't going much better. His bounty hunting days ended prematurely when he was given the slip by a notorious smuggler and his hairy friend. His bosses blame him for the money the smuggler got away with and he's being sent to the pleasure planet to work off his debt. While traveling in the steerage section of the ship they meet a party loving robot named Craig who would probably hate his life just like the others if he wasn't drowning his memory of it in cheep booze all day. What will become of them when warring factions in an intergalactic civil war destroy the ship they're on? Can this unlikely trio be the heroes who bring peace to the galaxy? Probably not...
